A Day to Explore Winter Park, Florida

I had a video shoot in Orlando, Florida the first week of January, and although it was some of the coldest weather Florida had seen this season, the sun was still shining and I was still determined to explore. I had heard about a charming little city outside of Orlando called Winter Park. So, I took an extra day to purely explore and get lost in a new place. I started at the Farmers Market, which I just happened to catch on a Saturday, and then really let myself wander. I happened upon an awesome church building that had been built in the early 1900’s. The architecture caught my imagination and I walked around the entire building just studying its curves and archways.

I ended up at a lake where I sat at the edge of a dock the rest of the afternoon and watched the light reflecting off the water as large cranes swooped into the water. Because of the cold, I had the place all to myself.
